HRLN is currently seeking a Director for its Women Justice Initiative (WJI). We are looking for a person with 5-7 years of experience, passionately working for women’s rights. A self motivated, team leader, familiar with issues of gender based violence who can contribute to the vision of HRLN.
About the Post: HRLN is currently seeking senior persons for its Women Justice Initiative across the country. Positions can be based at HRLN offices in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. The post will require travel throughout India as and when required. The candidate will be providing direction in the activities of the initiative and work closely with the Women Justice Team nationally. The incumbent will be expected to manage a team of staff and interns for all litigation and legal advocacy work, undertake fact findings, trainings, research, drafting, advocacy work along with project management and documentation.
- Self motivated person with dedication and passion for furthering women’s rights. A person with vision and capability of leading on issues nationally.
- A law degree or an advanced degree with relevant social sciences and a work experience of 5-7 years.
- Strong communication skills (both spoken and written) in English and Hindi, or another Indian language along with good research and writing skills.
- Self initiated person with the ability to work with a team nationally and also take directions from Seniors
Salary : Salary and benefits are comparable to the non-profit sector; and commensurate with experience and internal equity.
