Calcutta high court directs police camp to be shifted from school

Date : 30/01/2015

Reiterating the fundamental right of children to education and observing that it is not at all a healthy and congenial atmosphere for the children to attend school where a Police Camp has been set up, the Calcutta High Court directed for removal of the Police Camp from the Makhra Primary School in Birbhum West Bengal to place where no such inconvenience would be caused to the children or other sections of the society.
