It was prayed to amend Indian Penal Code for dealing with acid attack as special offences, framing guidelines in respect of the need of the acid attack victims and adopting measures for the proper treatment, aftercare and rehabilitation of the victims of acid attack. The Court passed certain directions in respect of the same.
