Petition moved against in-laws of the victim for harrasment

State Vs Ajay Sonanker The deceased Rama Devi found hanged position at her matrimonial home at her 2nd floor room by her sister in-law.The room was not closed. The death was happened after 8th year of her marriage. So the police did not file the FIR even though the Complainant brother was alleging that she had been harassed by the in-laws for the dowry.And there was an attempt for adopting the only son of the deceased by the one of the sister in-law of the deceased. Deceased drunkard husband had not provided anything to her. She had to depend on her family members.Police tried to push up the case by obtaining a statement of brother saying he had no suspicion on any in-laws. But it was reported that it was under pressure was obtained his signature. Even he was complained to the police at the mortuary that he has very serious doubt on the death after seeing her body as well as the very circumstance was suspicious.Even after so many request FIR not registered. So the Complainant approached various state party with his complaint. Status The Petition U/S156(3) was moved on behalf of the complainant. Finally the fir got registered, and subsequently the Charge sheet was filed U/S 306 and 498A. But at the time of framing of charge the Hon'ble Court deleted the Section U/S 306, as well denied the Possibility of Sec.302 IPC, which was strongly argued for the Complainant.So the Complainant filed a Revision petition at the H.C of Delhi.The Revision petition is admitted.
