SYNOPSIS Phungu kenglang and Tina singpho filed writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant a sum of Rs 10000/- under national food security act, 2013 to the petitioner and sum of Rs 700/- under JSY Scheme and reimbursement of out of pocket expenses under JSSK. The petitioners are lactating mothers and delivered a baby girl/boy. The petitioners submitted a claim application/ representation under sec.4 (b) of national food security act before the concerned authority for grant of Rs.10000/- and another claim under JSSK scheme as maternity benefits for lactating mother; but they received no response, hence these writs were filed.
