Ali Qambar Zaidi

Lucknow Ali wanted to be lawyer since his early teens; a decision inspired both by his inclination to fight human rights violations and in part, his father’s work in the same profession. He enjoys the challenges of the vocation and the process of constantly learning, evolving and getting better. His current work includes taking up cases on labor rights, minority rights, housing rights, and criminal writs, among others. True to form as a human rights lawyer, themes of morality and improvement recur in Ali’s preferences: his favourite book, The Kite Runner, is a tale of sacrifice and loyalty.
