Arunachal Pradesh Bulia litigated extensively at the Trial Courts in the city of Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. With emphasis on Women's Justice Initiative cases and the Criminal Justice Initiative, Bulia represented survivors of domestic violence, child sexual abuse and sexual harassment and those in prisons. At SLIC, Bulia worked closely with people's movements on the Rights of Hydropower affected persons. She has successfully represented oustees of the Dibang Valley and Lower Dibang valley for compensation for land acquired for dams. She has published PBRs for UNDP, translated hydropower documents in Idu-Mishmi language as well as transcribed international research papers for University of South Florida, (Tampa, USA).
