Delhi deepak.singh@slic.org.in An LLB graduate from the University of Delhi, Deepak Kumar’s yearning to work for the rights of the marginalized community encouraged him to pursue his Masters in Social Work. The exposure he gained during his masters coupled with his legal acumen landed Deepak at the SLIC Delhi unit. Deepak primarily works on Reproductive Rights issues like availability and accessibility of referral facilities, maternity benefit schemes, promotion safe and institutional delivery services. One of the significant cases Deepak has worked on is a Writ Petition on behalf of a slum cluster lacking basic of sanitation and toilet facilities in the heart of Delhi.
