Police Sensitisation and Trainings
HRLN regularly conducts training for Police Officers and various members of law enforcement agencies in order to make them aware of the rights of Rohingya Refugees in the area and their rights and the support that the Police is to provide. The objective of the visits are to strengthen and enhance the relation with the police to make them aware of Refugee Protection issues. The exercise is particularly essential to orient new officials at the Police Station on issues faced by Refugees and their cooperation while dealing with cases in relation to refugees reported in the jurisdiction of the Police Station. The Police Officers are explained Refugee Protection issues and the work that UNHCR does in India.
