    1.Mohammad Isaac vs state of j&k and others

    This case pertains to fake a encounter that took place in the year 2008.
    In this case, the court directed the state conclude the prosecution against the three police personnels and provide compensation and a government job to one member of the victim’s family.

    2. Ahsan untoo vs state of j&k

    Court directed the state to frame the rules within 3 months regarding 25% reservation in private schools for students belonging to communities who live below poverty line.

    3. Mohammad Faroz vs state of j&k.

    This case pertains to the Burmese national (Rohingya Muslim) Minor girl who was sold in Delhi to the Kashmiri resident for Rs. 80,000. Through the intervention of court, she was rescued and her custody was handed over to her maternal uncle (petitioner).

    4. Riyaz Ahmad khan vs state of j&k and others

    Riyaz is an artist and he was detained under public safety act on the ground that he had made numerous graffiti in Kupwara district of J&K which incited people especially youngsters against the government. Court quashed the detention order and directed the state to release him forthwith.

    5. Prof. SM Afzal Qadri vs state of J&k and others.

    The case pertains to the challenge thrown to the statute which prohibited the sale of beef in J&K.
    The matter was heard and decided by the full bench of the High Court whereby the order which prohibited the sale of beef was quashed.
