Rescued dalit trafficked workers from Ambala, Haryana

The National Campaign Committee for Eradication of Bonded Labour (NCCEBL) rescued Around 56 bonded labourers belonging from the backward community that were trafficked from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The workers were rescued on 21 February, 2019 from a brick kiln in Ambala, Haryana.

The local administration thereafter issued release certificates to the rescued labourers which provd their claims that they were enslaved and trafficked. NCCEBL is struggling for rehabilitation of rescued bonded labourers.
