CCRI- International Law Lecture Series: Right of Indigenous Persons before the Inter-American Court

With its base in Delhi, CCRI runs courses throughout India in remote rural areas where access to high quality legal and human rights education is hard to find, as well as in the metro cities. We bring theory, practice, and law together into an integrated and multidisciplinary program. CCRI specialises in public interest law, social activism and access to justice. We offer a radical and comprehensive curriculum from the perspective of defending poor and marginalised people. Our courses are designed and built around the specific issues and concerns of the time and place in which they are delivered.

This is done to enable us to respond immediately to critical situations by providing training to local lawyers and activists on how to use the law to combat injustice."

The Centre for Constitutional Rights recently started its International Law Lecture Series with lawyers and activists from leading Civil Liberties organisations sharing their experience with leading cases/litigation on various constitutional rights in their courts

Our third Lecture is scheduled on 17.02.2021.

The Lecture will be taken by Diego Morales and Erika Schimdhuber Peña from CELS, Argentina who will talk about litigation around Indegenious Rights in Argentina. The zoom and registration link is as under:
