Manisha Mashaal has completed her Masters in Women Studies and has done Mass Media. She completed her LLB in 2019. While studying in grade 3 she was insulted by her teacher in front of the whole class for being from a backward community. She has been working for the rights of Dalits especially for women, oppressed poor people who are considered to be untouchables. 

She has seen lot of atrocities and violence subjugated on women of backward class and caste during while working as an activist. She took up law realizing that justice can only be sought  by taking this path. She has been involved in cases of discrimination, atrocities, sexual assaults and torture, land matters and matters related to a number of other kinds of violations..
