The
welcome note and concept note was delivered by Adv. Veena Kumari, SLIC,
Chandigarh. She opened with the observation that the domestic violence is one
of the major violations of Human Rights
and also that there is no debate on the point that this kind of violation is an
obstruction in the optimum development of any society as well.
